What am I doing here?

I often ask myself that question when I think about starting a blog. I have never been good at keeping up a journal, despite my desire, and I am not a writer. But I feel like the Lord is teaching me tons right now and I want to remember. So here I am.
These are my musings, my thoughts and my processing of daily life. There will not be anything profound here. But I hope this will serve as a way of remembering our life because it goes by so quickly. And my son is going to grow up so fast. I don't want to forget...
I chose the name diapers, daisies and delight because I think the Lord is teaching me a lot lately about delighting in the daily activities. In the things that I often think don't make a difference or won't amount to anything (like changing diaper after diaper or load after load of laundry). But then I remember that all of the things that I do on any given day are the ways that God is calling me to serve my family. And in serving my family I am serving Him. I am to delight in Him as I delight in my work at home.
This is a journey and I think I am only at the beginning but I am so excited to see what the Lord is doing!
